Many users know that planetary reducers is used to reduce the speed of the main equipment to increase the torque. Regardless of the small size of this accessory, it is an indispensable auxiliary device for many machines. Temperature on planetary reducer will raise when working for a long time. Is there any way to prevent this?

 

The working environment of planetary reducers is generally poor and must work in high temperature environments, so cooling is particularly important. Gigager engineer will briefly introduce the four main cooling methods of planetary reducer.

 

1. In the long-term operation of the planetary reducer, make the temperature rise of the oil tank and the bearing not to exceed 35°C.

 

2. If the situation requires the reducer to operate for long time, it is necessary to install cooling system. The reducer is equipped with a cooling spiral tube, and the user can connect cooling water. When the cooling water passes through the spiral tube, the heat is transferred to the cooling water and the heat is transferred out to achieve the cooling effect.

 

3. The cooling water flow cannot be too large, but it must be ensured that it can pass through the planetary reducer freely.

 

4. If the deceleration does not work for a long time, there will be danger of freezing, so the cooling water must be drained.

 

When the planetary reducer is in normal operation, user need to check it from time to time. If there is an abnormality, stop machine immediately. This can increase the life of the reducer, and improve work efficiency.
